Greenland State has a long and vibrant history as a part of Norway, Denmark, and now the Arctic Federation. Mostly a fishing country, its settlements are located close to the coastline. This would be necessary anyway, as the centre of the island is mostly tundra and wilderness. It is the least wealthy of the four Arctic States, but the average Greenlandic citizens are approximately as wealthy as the average citizens of a European nation.
