Sprawling across two million square kilometres, Nunavut State has a population the size of San Marino spread across an area the size of Saudi Arabia. It has a rich mining heritage, which has made it a rich area, but its economy is now principally reliant on tourism and the internet. Nunavut has a rich Inuit heritage, and was created in 1999 to be Canada's Inuit homeland.
